1 – Let’s Get Started

Let’s get started on registering a domain name and setting up your web space. This post is the full instructions with screen captures for registering a subdomain with our sponsor Hire A Hit Hosting.
Step 1 – Think of a interesting and memorable name.
Step 2 – Click the link to our sponsored web hosting. Click Here
You will arrive at the shopping cart and ready to register your domain.
Step 3 – Confirm that the option I want to use a free subdomain is selected. Type in the name that you want on the box and click Click to Continue.
Step 4 - Click Update Cart. Leave all options as default.
Step 5 – If you have a Promotional Code enter it here and Click Validate Code. *if you are a Okanagan College Continuing Education Student, ask your instructor for the Promotional Code.*
Step 6 – Click Checkout.
You will be required to add your contact information and create an account. This allows you to easily make updates to your account and contact Support if you run into any issues with your web space.
Step 7 – Click Complete Order.
You are now ready to start working on your WordPress Website!
