From the Dashboard
Step 1 – Install the plugin
Step 2 – Activate plugin
Step 3 – Get your API Code from Akismet or from WordPress
Step 4 – Configure Akismet, Under Plugins Click Akismet Configuration.
Step 5 – Enter API and Click Update Options
